PRABUMULIH, BS.COM - Sudah menjadi kebiasaan sehari-hari dalam bermain judi online jenis poker atau sloot, membuat Fadel (20) menjadi kecanduan. Berbagai cara dan upaya akan ia lakukan demi hobinya tersebut.
Namun sayang kegemarannya bermain judi online tersebut, tidak ditunjang dengan keuangan yang memadai. Hal ini lantaran Fadel tidak mempunyai pekerjaan yang tetap. Akibat tidak punya uang itulah, Fadel nekat melakukan aksi kejahatan.
Dimana warga Jalan A Hamid RT 02, RW 2, Kelurahan Pasar 1, Kecamatan Prabumulih Utara, Kota Prabumulih Sumatera Selatan pun akhirnya menjadi seorang pencuri dengan mencuri sebuah laptop di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 36 pada 20 Januari 2020.
Aksinya terbongkar setelah Tim Taring Macam Reskrim Polsek Prabumulih Barat pimpinan Katim Buser Awboy, berhasil menangkap pelaku, Selasa, (8/9/2020) dini hari.
Berdasarkan informasi, penangkapan Fadel berawal laporan Rusianah (55) Kepsek SDN 36 dengan Nomor LP/B/13/ I/2020/SPK. Tgl 20 Januari 2020, tentang Tindak Pidana Pencurian.
Dimana 20 Januari sekitar jam 13.00 WIB mendapat informasi sekolahnya telah dibobol pencuri. Saat itu telah hilang 1 unit laptop warna biru merk asus yang diletakan dilaci ruangan, dan pihak sekolah mengalami kerugian sebesar Rp 5,2 juta.
Mendapati laporan itu, selama 8 bulan Buser Reskrim Polsek Prabumulih melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan. Alhasil pelaku pencurian berhasil diketahui keberadaannya serta identitasnya. Tak ingin buruannya kabur jauh lagi, Tim Reskrim Polsek Prabumulih Barat dipimpin oleh Kanit Reskrim Ipda Darmawan SH dan Katim Buser Awboy langsung menangkap Fadel yang bersembunyi di rumahnya. Tanpa perlawanan Fadel ditangkap, dan langsung digelandang ke Polsek Prabumulih Barat.
Dihadapan penyidik, Fadel mengakui telah mencuri laptop di SDN 36 Prabumulih. Dalam beraksi memanjat pagar sekolah dan naik tangga lalu masuk ke ruangan di lantai 2, mengambil laptop lalu kabur. “Laptopnya tidak kujual, tapi kugunakan buat main judi online. Maling laptop karena butuh akibat kecanduan main judi online,” terangnya.
Kapolsek Prabumulih Barat, AKP Mursal Mahdi SH didampingi Kanit Reskrim Ipda Darmawan SH mengatakan, pelaku ditangkap di Jalan Pandean dan saat ini masih dikembangkan apakah masih banyak keterlibatannya dalan melakukan pencurian di sekolah-sekolah.
“Barang bukti laptop dan pelaku telah kita amankan. Dan saat ini kita kenakan Pasal 363 KUHPidana dengan ancaman 5 tahun kurungan penjara. Pelaku ini mencuri karena kecanduan bermain judi online,” tambah kapolsek. (Red)
